The Ayr Seaforth 5 Mile Trail race and 3 km Family Fun Run will be held on Wednesday 25th August 2010 from the Dam Park Athletics stadium, Content Avenue AYR KA8 0ET. The 3km (1.9mile) family fun run starts at 6.30pm and entry fee is £1. The 5 mile trail race starts at 7.15pm, with an entry fee of £8 or £6 for Scottish Athletics members. A further £1 off 5 mile race if pre-entered. Registration from 5.30pm

Since Tuesday 14th October 2008, Ayr Seaforth have been holding 5km Winter and Summer Series'. The 5km races are held every 2nd Tuesday of the month and members from all clubs are invited to join us. The next race will be held on Tuesday 10th August, 2010 from Seafield traffic lights at old race course at 7.30pm or meeting at Dam Park for 7.15pm.

Ayr Seaforth hosted the "The Land o’ Burns 10k Road race" on 26th May 2010. They were 208 entrants and the men's race was won by David Millar in 32.09. Runners up were Kerry-Liam Wilson (2nd 32.20) and Nick Mallebay (3rd 32.48). The women's race was won by Joasia Zakrzewski (38.26) and runners up were Joanne McEvoy (40.52) and Laura Wallace (41.42).

On Friday 15th August, Glasgow Athletic Association launched the Glasgow 2014 Athletic Squad. Ayr Seaforth's Neil Burnside has been included in this Squad. Neil has qualifying times in 100m, 200, 400, and 800m.
